Delegating, treasuring family, nagging...
In today's Express newspaper I've given some troubleshooting tips for a few typical Christmas dilemmas... one of which is getting people to help - instead of leaving us women to do it all!
V happy - five relations landed last night from South America where they live... we were sceptical about them landing at Heathrow - the international airport that clearly doesn't meet international standards when the weather changes.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: a short and sweet for today: we're going to treasure our time together and I hope you're treasuring your family over the holidays.
I see a report on nagging’s in the press - obviously there's going to be a lot of nagging over Christmas - it makes me furious that women get the blame for being naggers.
Yes, of course some women are natural born naggers and should bite their tongue on occasion. But what about the men? Maybe a few those could do with actually doing things - that need to be done - when they need to be done.
We women have plenty of faults but I've found in 90% of the cases where someone’s a so-called ‘nag’ it's because her other half doesn't pull his weight. Chew on that!
I'll be posting a new "your e-mail of the week" later today - still have time to get yours in - click on the gold star on my homepage.
Got to run and finish off Christmas shopping - only have a couple little treats left to get. After popping in to a friend's drinks thing last night, the hubby and I did most of our wrapping. Every year we say we're going to go for a wrapping ‘theme’ - ha ha, we ended up using about five different Christmas wraps as always... and the theme is "miscellaneous Christmas colours" this year - as always!
