Oh baby, your birth order matters, lose weight the right way, hard to resist going out...
Have you thought about the fact that you are the person you are partly because of the order you were born in? If you're a first born you're probably more successful than your brothers and sisters. If you're the baby of the family you're probably more popular than they are! And so on.
With the Beckham's brood now totalling four with the arrival of daughter, Harper, they might be interested in my article on birth order and personality in today's Sun newspaper. Children are profoundly influenced by the place they come in a family and also if they’re, e.g., the only girl or the only boy.
Study after study shows you can’t get around this effect on your personality... if you're interested check it out for the basics on birth order.
Omg, the actress Pauline Quirke's unrecognisable in the papers today - she's lost six stone and looks phenomenal. My worry? She's done it on an extreme diet and if she's not careful it will come back and then some.
Robbie Williams is unrepentant about swearing in front of young fans - he's a hugely talented man - I once saw him at a phenomenal gig - forget the ‘X factor’, he had the XXX factor - but sadly he’s become spoilt and self-centred believing the world revolves around him... feel sorry for the wife and can’t blame parents for being angry.
Met up for early drinks last night with an old pal - was lovely to see her but we kept it early - I was exhausted after presenting the three-hour radio show Sunday night.
This evening I'm seeing another friend in Soho - but then it IS head down and work, work, work the rest of the week and no socialising!
TODAY’S THOUGHT: When I have to I can force myself to hunker down in a little mental ‘bunker’ and go without socialising when I have deadlines, etc. Having worked freelance for the last decade I've had to get discipline in my life - it's been a tough journey at times!
Hard to fight the urge to meet up for a coffee, lunch or drinks with a friend when their text comes through - and if you've started working for yourself - could be due to the recession - you might find this is a real problem. I did at first but if you set yourself a one day at a time way of getting through your work load, you can do it.
Late last night caught up on Mildred Pierce - loving Kate Winslet in it - not so sure about Guy Pearce though, and the daughter's a complete freak - who devised her character?
Have a lovely Tuesday, Pam X
