Bad habits, nice people usually win, don't be defeated...
if you're struggling with a bad habit you want to change -I've just read another report that you need to stick to your new regime for at least three weeks to see real changes and get the confidence you need to keep going. Might be a good idea to factor this into any New Year's resolutions you're considering...don't give up after week two!
Ahhh, sweet! Dougie from McFly won Help I'm a celebrity - always good to see that one of the nicest celebs wins! And then Mark Wright - who’d won over a lot of skeptics - had to blow it by being kind of cruel about Emily in a Sun newspaper interview... saying it didn't mean anything to him. Why be a bit nasty to her?
Very disappointed to miss out on seeing The Kills Saturday night - the filming I did for the telly pilot ran late so I couldn't get there - evidently it was a killer gig.
So Misha B was booted out of the X Factor last night... I'm sure we’re going to hear a lot more of her... it's the winner next week who has to worry about the X Factor jinx!
TODAY’S TIP: Never be defeated if you nearly get to the top of something [thinking of the X Factor] - I don't buy into that thing that if you miss out you're just not right. I think you should always take it as a positive if you almost get the promotion, the new job, etc.
Definitely ask for feedback as to why you didn't quite make it. Think about how you can improve your chances next time around. See that setback as a learning experience - yeah, right you’re thinking, it's not that easy. No it's not easy - and most good things don't come easily - so kick that attitude into touch!
As I always say at the start of the week ‘Happy Monday’... and then I read the Happy Mondays are getting back together – should be good! Take care, Pam x
