Amazing food, perfect tunes, heartfelt things...
Had the most amazing, tasty Korean food in New Malden last night - there is a Korean community and lots of restaurants to choose from. We had a lot of the classic BBQ style food cooked in front of us.
As we were out have got the Comedy Awards on the planner to watch tonight - hope Wossy's on good form.
We're going to go for a run (er... should that be a slow jog) and I've got Pendulum’s Immersion on the iPod...perfect teas for exercise. The Prodigy is another one to exercise to.
So relieved for the parents of Jo Yeates that her neighbour has been charged with her murder - please let that help them move on at least a little bit. If he is found guilty, in forensics terms it won’t be a surprise as 90% of homicides are committed by someone you know at least a little bit.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: as her parents have been quoted as saying this won't bring their precious daughter back but at least they can hope justice will be done.
Nothing brings people back so every day we should all try to treat each other well. You never know what's around the corner and what might take someone away from you. It's easy to let the stresses and strains get the better of you and to bite each other's heads off - but saying sorry and trying not to do so again is always a step in the right direction.
This weekend is the anniversary of my late mother passing and we were chatting about the wonderful her yesterday - and unsurprisingly she featured in a dream of mine last night - obviously because I miss her terribly and we'd been talking about her. If you ever want to e-mail me a dream to "your e-mail as the week" I might choose that to post rather than a dilemma. Remember I always try and post a new e-mail on Thursdays.
I forgot to say the brownies I made turned out pretty much spot on! That's a new one! We had them at tea time before we went out as a group to the Korean restaurant. I'll try and post the recipe when I've got time.
Have a lazy Sunday, Pam X
