I'm going to miss it, it's not rock 'n roll, don't struggle alone...
I'm going to miss my summer special on BBC Western regions radio - last night it was fab chatting to callers about their stories and dilemmas.
On to my next project... have started writing my new book - to be published next spring - all I can say about it right now is that it should be a fun and informative read - fingers crossed I can make my deadlines!
We did highlight the lonely death of Amy Winehouse on the program last night and today it's awful to read about the last days of Amy Winehouse - it's not rock 'n roll to die at 27 - it's a horrible way for someone to go. If anything comes out of her short life I hope people will decide to face their addictions if they have one. If you're struggling with any such problem - please listen to your friends and family and get help. You can fight it one day at a time!
Picking up a family member from hospital today - feel so lucky compared to what other families are going through right now that it's a smallish op so they'll be okay.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: count your blessings even if they seem few and far between. If you're alive and happy then you’re incredibly lucky. If you're alive and unhappy then you can start changing that today!
We have such power within us to change - don't be frightened if things are bad right now - they will get better.
Did I say I'm loving the Black Keys album Brothers? The Howling for You video rocks! Got my album titles mixed up before!
Happy Monday, Pam X.
