Getting a new relationship off the ground, keeping it sexy, Women's Day...
Sue and I had a fab time on BBC radio Cambridgeshire last night - we chatted about how a GSOH can carry a couple through hard times, how to get started chatting someone up, body language signals to watch out for when you first meet someone, and I analysed a few listeners' dreams.
Beware the seven year itch has been reduced to 3 years if you believe a survey out today. I always find these slightly interesting as they can give a snapshot of what people are thinking. Although this runs contrary to research out last year that found the seven-year itch had lengthened to 11 years!
So who do you believe? Well, no matter what the survey found - or even the proper research found - the best starting point is simply to keep things ticking over nicely in your relationship so neither of you gets an itch that you want to scratch.
If things are a bit stale then check out the section on my homepage "spectacular sex" for loads of tips. No excuses if you're bored there's enough to keep you going for the next 10 years there.
It’s International Women's Day and although for we women in the UK it may seem unnecessary in 2011, I can assure you there are plenty of young women in this country who need some sort of mentoring and encouragement to do their best. And around the world there are many countries way behind us in women's rights.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: if you know of a younger woman - maybe where you work or in the evening class you go to, etc. - who seems a bit lost then why not spend a little time with her and help her to value herself.
It might only take some friendliness, or a little bit of advice, to give her a helping hand. And the same goes for the guys - such informal mentoring can make a difference... think this might be part of what David Cameron means when he talks about the "Big Society". Doing little things for others changes our society for the good.
Okay, worthiness aside, what about EastEnders last night? I watched it off the planner after my chat with Sue - I love the good old-fashioned love triangle Phil, Glenda, Shirley storyline but when oh when are they going to end the Ronnie baby swap storyline once and for all?
Enjoy your day, Pamx
