Why someone wants to give intimate details of their sex life, mind blowingly hot...
In today's Sunday Times newspaper I've commented on why I think people are turned off by Sting's comments about his sex life with his wife Trudie Styler. Let me count the ways we ordinary punters might find his comments a bit annoying:
did she approve of what he's saying or did he just make these comments about their intimate life behind her back? Is it just an ego boost for him? Do we want to imagine him in a fantasy role-play situation with her? I think not.
Spent most of Saturday cleaning up the house for people to come over last night – eesshhh how does a home get so untidy?? I let the hubby do the cooking as I'm still embarrassed about my dinner party disaster two weeks ago. He made his now famous chillie with a couple of secret ingredients - steam coming out of everyone's ears it was so hot!
TODAY’S THOUGHT: okay so you probably think I'm getting a complex about cooking for friends but I'm not. Just need some time for the memories to fade, hehe. When you do something that doesn't come off right you shouldn't develop a phobia about it - we're too harsh on ourselves - we're our own worst critic.
It's like getting back in the saddle again... it's got to be done sooner or later.
Big mistake - after our friends left late last night we watched the first half of this week's Silent Witness off the planner. Now what was I just saying about not watching scary things late at night??
Grab some tickets to Milton Jones nearly sold-out tour if you can - his first night in Stafford on Friday was fantastic. So refreshing to watch funny stand-up that's not full of the F word. Not that I have anything against comedians swearing but sometimes it's every other word...
Enjoy your Sunday, Pam X
