Their ex is playing gooseberry, Wright Stuff Extra, things can change in the blink of an eye...
Is your partner’s ex getting in the way? I answer this question in my weekly iVillage.co.uk blog that goes live later today. It's great when two ex-partners can get on - especially if they have children - or where they sure a business or maybe even a home they haven't been able to sell because of the recession.
But it's quite another thing to stay cosy and exchange birthday gifts, etc. Who needs a gooseberry like that?? If you're in this situation then check it out.
Looking forward to being a guest on the Wright Stuff Extra with Gabby Logan on Friday - not only because she's a skilled presenter who gets to the heart of the subject but they're giving their experts proper time to answer questions...not just nanoseconds.
Going to be glued to the Sky planner tonight to watch the Murdochs and Rebekah Brooks appearing in front of the parliamentary committee today. When she was the ed at the News of the World I wrote for them as a sex and love columnist - must've crossed paths with her half a dozen times at Christmas parties, etc. I was always struck by this amazingly attractive, strong "warrior woman" who seemed fearless.
I can’t imagine what it's like to be in her shoes right now. It seems odd the police arrested her and yet presented no evidence - what was their game? Amongst all the 'fact' there's also a lot of fiction in this massive story and many blameless people are going to come under the spotlight.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: life can change in a moment - we can never predict what's around the corner. One minute you're the most powerful women in newspapers and the next you have no idea what's going to happen.
That's why I'm always banging on about making today the best possible day - you never know what tomorrow's going to bring.
Woot - Bianca (Patsy Kensit) will be back in EastEnders soon enough - bring back the firecracker!
Take care of yourself and relish the good moments in your day today, Pam X
