Flight or fight, that is the question...
On the Sun's website today I have an article about Tips for a Better, Bolder, Sex Life! It's written for the girlies - but you boys can check it out too.
Also take a look at new "your e-mail of the week" on my homepage from Sally who is in a relationship but fancies another man. Oh dear, we don't want any infidelity!
I'm looking forward to doing an interview on Joanne's show on BBC West Midlandsradio just after 10 this morning. If you've been struggling with a breakup and are worried about the impact of it on your children then please do listen in on the Net.
As for political debate last night I was surprised Gordon Brown did as well as he did considering the fiasco the day before. But I think Cameron looked the most vibrant and confident. As a body language expert I was fascinated when both Clegg and Brown raised one leg - a clear sign that both of them subconsciously wanted to leave at that moment.
Their leg muscles were tensing up and getting ready to ‘pick them up and carry them away’ from their stress! But their hands on the lecturns, held them firmly in place, so they couldn't flee the situation.
That ‘leg-lifting ‘ signal is part of the ‘flight and fight’ group of signals and this one was definitely about them wanting to take flight from the debates!
TODAY’S THOUGHT: think about it when you're in a stressful situation - and you don't want to give it away. Keep both feet planted firmly to the spot and both hands still - perhaps clasping your hands. But don't make the big mistake of starting to rub them together.
I've written an article that's gone live on MSN.co.uk today (under 'sex and relationships') about people who hinge ALL their happiness on their future - and can't enjoy the 'here and now'. I know I've raised this with you before, but this goes into much more detail if you're stuck in this trap.
What with houseguests and the big 80th birthday celebration for the mother-in-law I've got to run - but have a fantastic weekend, love, Pam X
