Meaty dilemmas, annoying celebs...
Yay, it's Tuesday and I'm doing my weekly agony slot on Dublin News talk radio after 10 AM. The producer's outlined some meaty dilemmas from listeners for me to tackle today including a bomb in his den mistress to American man for a number of years and has a two-year-old child by him. She's 38 and desperate to have a second child with him. If you want my opinion then please do listen in on the Net after 10.
Celebrities say the silliest things! That's fine and dandy for Angelina Jolie to give an interview to Vanity Fair magazine saying she's going to re-prioritise her life - what about the rest of us who'd dearly love to do so?! I get very annoyed with celebrities who have stashed away millions of pounds, have all the homes they could possibly need, and nannies money can buy, and yet they make it sound like such a grand gesture to do something like re-prioritise their children. My question is: for heavens sake why wouldn't they?
More celebrities have got me thinking about the perils of on-off relationships –that’s through watching what's going on with Prince Harry and Chelsea Davey. I recently met someone who has been in an on-off relationship for three years. From my perspective she's allowing this to happen and isn't assertive enough to turn into one thing or another, either a fully committed relationship or kick him into touch.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: I've seen this so many times - and if you stuck in such a relationship for goodness sake start being honest with your on-off lover! Why go on wasting years potentially, not really having the satisfaction you want.
You don't have to get upset or angry that you simply have to find the guts to spell out where you want to go with your boyfriend or girlfriend. Either they come along for the ride where they have to be honest about what they want too.
As I mentioned a few months ago - loving the FutureHeads’ track I Can Do That - remind me of the Ramones… then again they've influenced bands for three decades!
Come on Murray - make Wimbledon yours!
Take care, Pam X
