Younger men and older dating...
Happy Monday to you! Watched Sam Taylor-Wood’s Nowhere Boy yesterday - and got engrossed by the second half. It traced John Lennon's teenage years and I hadn't realised his relationships with his mother and his aunt were so complicated. Might explain the complicated relationship he had with women generally. I see Sam Taylor-Wood's in the press again today having spent a fortune beyond our wildest dreams on a house to share with her fiance Aaron Johnson the young star of Nowhere Boy.
At 10.30 this morning I'm talking to Maurice Boland on Europe talk radio (captured on the net) about sex addiction. Maurice is an interviewer who gives a topic the time it deserves rather than expecting a few soundbites. So I'm looking forward to being his guest.
And after 3.00 this afternoon I'll be on BBC Sussex and BBC Surrey further discussing the whole Mrs Robinson type relationships between younger men and older woman - resonates with Sam Taylor-Wood and her young man!
In the Express Newspaper today I've written about finding love later in life if you've been divorced or widowed. I've prepared a quiz in the article to check how ready you are to date again.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: I absolutely believe that if you've loved once, then you can love again. There is nothing - after a time of healing - to decide you want to share your life again. I know the biggest worry for many is what their families will think - hopefully they'll support you and understand your need to meet someone new.
It's Monday so it's time to meet up with a friend tonight for an early drink and dinner and a gossip - definitely! Love, Pam X
