Just browsed through the last ever News of the Screws - so sad - had so many good times in the eight years I wrote for them - what a lark. Still you have to embrace change when it comes. And it seems they'd never be able to change the tainted view of the paper so it had to go.

Such sad news to hear that Betty Ford has passed away at the age of 93 - in her own way she did such phenomenal work for people with addictions. An American friend of mine once met her and said she had such dignity and sensitivity... maybe she was one of those people that are a bit too sensitive for how harsh the world can be at times. Thank goodness for people like Betty!
After reports last week of Robbie Williams swearing repeatedly in front of young fans we can only hope that's a sign of over-exuberance and nothing more.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: back to embracing change... the more neurotic, anxious and sensitive you are, the harder you'll find it easy to manage change. But if you can do like the words of Oasis- roll with it - you'll be so much happier.
Or going through a crisis can mean you can’t face further change - I remember feeling that way after my divorce before I met my second husband. Because everything in your personal relationship is in chaos you want everything else to stay the same. I fought the anxiety and now love embracing change - you can too.
Tried cooking my latest version of phad Thai for friends for a late lunch yesterday... too much fresh ginger - almost made it too bitter. But a chilled out time was had by all.
Hope to speak to you tonight at 10 PM, have a lovely Sunday, Pam X
