What was James doing, losing virginity, marrying for the third time, horrible bullying...
Thank heavens environment Minister Caroline Spelman has come to her senses and reversed the proposed sale some of our national forests - who ever thought that was a good idea??
Well, having caught up on the Brits last night there wasn't too much bad behaviour... what is it with well-behaved modern rock stars?? And what was James Corden doing to Justin Beiber’s face and hair ... more than just a touch odd. Sorry Justin got to agree your haircut is Dyke-ish.
Loved performances by Plan B (is that man talented!), Arcade Fire, Adele (talk about bringing tears to the eyes), Tinie Tempah (where was Labyrinth when he was needed?) and others... even the Take That men.
Nearly fell off my seat when I heard The Pierces on Radio 1 yesterday - two sisters who sing together - I recommended them here six months ago but they're not really R1 type of tunes - maybe a bit hippy-dippy.
If you're fed up with second rate relationships then check out my weekly blog on iVillage.co.UK - I answered a woman's dilemma about finding someone worthy. Definitely worth waiting for someone worthy! I've given some advice that I hope is food for thought for singles looking for more than a one night stand or second rate behaviour.
I've just posted the two new "your e-mails a week" - take a look - click on the gold star on my homepage and maybe one of them is yours - one is from a 19-year-old wanting to lose their virginity and the other is about a ridiculously busy, neglectful boyfriend. As I explain I can only answer one a week (because I've been away I've done two this week) because I run my site as well is working very long hours! Would love to reply to everyone's.
Hmm reading that Earl Spencer’s getting married for the third time – he’s Princess Diana's brother - makes me think how important it is to avoid repeating mistakes… the first mistake to avoid is doing things the same way you did your first marriage - thinking you don't need to change anything! The second is not to marry on the rebound. The third is have you grown up emotionally since your divorce? So many others I could write a whole article.
I couldn't believe reading the tragic story yesterday of the suicide of a 15-year-old girl who was bullied over her parents separating. Why is there so much cruelty in this generation?
TODAY’S THOUGHT: this story absolutely sickens me. If you suspect your child is being bullied do ask them and then ask again, keep an eye on them and don't let them feel they’re alone. Keep boosting their confidence in him anyway you can, go to the school if things don't improve on their own, just keep on trying and keep them safe.
It's almost always - 99% of cases - that the person who is being bullied is a nice, kind person who would bully another.
Take care of yourself, Pam X
