Watch those 'players', find your inner quirk...
Looking forward to doing an item on This Morning TV tomorrow - can't wait to chat to Phillip and Jenny.
Later today my weekly blog on iVillage.co.uk goes live - I've answered a woman's question about giving a "player" a second chance.
He has a reputation for mucking women about and stood her up on their first date. Personally I think life is too short... unless you want a bit of a rollercoaster ride - and probably some fairly hot sex - because players can be good fun as long as you're not looking for love from them!
Seeing Gaga on the planner last night made me green with envy for the peeps right at the front of her performance... loved her black, patent, ‘pregnant’, fetish suit - though she missed a trick by not squeezing something out of her fake baby bump... loved all the hits, her dancers, her costumes, her tune for her grandad (Edge of Glory)... the whole darn thing! (Loving The Strokes too, as always).
TODAY’S THOUGHT: Thinking of Gaga - she's true to herself - you need to be true to yourself including to your own quirkiness. Sometimes that quirkiness can get you into trouble like being bullied at school for standing out - she had a humorous but poignant anecdote about being in the high school jazz club with the geeks.
Bullying is horrible and children can be so cruel (sadly far too much of it goes on in the workplace). Thankfully at some point there’s a sea-change and quirkiness is admired for the most part in adults... find your inner quirk today!
Woot, off to the last night of Uncaged Monkeys - the Robin Ince and Brian Cox tour... it's been a huge success, no surprises, Robin’s a comic genius and Brian’s so smart.
Take care of yourself, Pam x
