Your dilemmas and cheating is not the solution to relationship problems...
This evening I'm doing my regular agony aunt slot on Sue Marchant's BBC Eastern regions radio show - get in touch from 7 -8 tonight by texting your dilemma to 81333. Begin your text with Sue and then send to 81333 - look forward to your dilemmas!
For my strongly worded view about a new book that says men might as well not even try to stay faithful [well, it pretty much says that] check out today's Express newspaper.
Rates on cheating for both men and women are high [roughly 40% and 30% respectively] but the majority of people manage not to cheat and try and find ways to make their relationships better.
Cheating is so often an irrational reaction to a powerful feeling... feel angry that your partner is neglecting you? Rather than communicating you're feeling and trying to improve things, go out and have a fling, eh? Etc.
TODAY’S TIP: but if you're tempted to cheat right now - or you ARE cheating - how about putting that mental [and physical - let's not forget the bedroom-time you're putting in on the side] effort into your partner? You know that person who's been through thick and thin with you?
Go on, try and sort it - or at least show them the respect to leave them rather than cheat on them.
