Misuse of sex drugs, go vote, partner's finances...
In today's Mirror I've commented on how young men are taking big risks by taking things like Viagra as a ‘recreational’ drug. For a start these are prescription drugs not to be played around with. Second off I don't believe the label ‘recreational’ should apply to the abuse of drugs. If it's not prescribed for you then it's not recreational!
Why are men doing this? Because many men feel under tremendous pressure to 'perform' as never before. We think it's only women who worry about being ‘sex goddesses’ - and feel the enormous pressure of the burden - well, men are under the same sort of pressure.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: if you're feeling you must live up to some sexual ideal you've seen in a film, magazines, etc., don't bend to the pressure... we live in the real world not an ideal one. So many false pictures are painted of sexual relationships.
Do what works for you and if you're feeling anxious talk to your partner about it...or don't go to bed with someone until you can talk about these intirmate things. Be different - don't be the one who treats sex like it means nothing.
I'm off to pre-record something for The Vanessa Show on Channel 5- she's fab to work with! Will give you a heads-up when this programme comes out.
A simple 'command' (haha, what a bossy boots) - go vote today - exercise your right!
It's Thursday so I'm posting a new "your e-mail of the week" - are you Mike worried about your wife's expenditure? Check it out and keep your e-mails coming in - thanks for them!
Yay, out with pals in town for a quick drink later - haven't decided where yet but if the Sun's time comes back it'll definitely be outdoors.
Take care, Pam x
