Hope to chat to you tomorrow night, wedding plans crashing and burning, slow men...
After cocktails in Soho last night flopped on sofa to catch up on EastEnders... oh dear Tanya and Max have been caught by Lauren... will they, won't they, continue having an affair? And loving the evil Michael storylines – heck, you can’t beat a good baddie. EastEnders is on the up again.
Woot, it's the love songs programme I'm presenting tonight for BBC radio Western regions - covering eight regions from Gloucestershire to Guernsey. If you LOVE chilled out love songs it's the perfect programme - you can listen online by going to BBC radio Devon.
And tomorrow night from 10 PM until 1 AM ring me with any dilemma or to chat about a topic that keeps cropping up - the pressures of planning a wedding day - maybe you are, or know, a bridezilla - or you're watching your son or daughter getting stressed out over their plans - would love to hear your story. Get in touch from 10 PM on 0845 301 1034, OR text 81333, start your message with the word 'LOVE'.
An old pal of mine actually broke off her wedding plans because she and her fiance got so stressed in the run-up to their big day. She figured if they couldn't agree on their wedding plans how on earth would they ever agree on day-to-day stuff like where to live, what kind of home they should have, even the colour scheme, etc.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: it's never too late to back out of a wedding if your jitters are more like massive judders. In my work I've known people who have got married and then divorced within a couple months - as they walked up the aisle they knew it was the wrong thing but felt too embarrassed to call the whole thing off.
Don't do it if things are that bad, they'll only get a lot worse!
Many supportive messages for 'Jennifer' - check out "your e-mail of the week" on my homepage - I chose her story of being sexually abused in childhoodlast week. Wish I could reply to everyone - thanks for all your mails!
Thinking of weddings Wills and Kate (can’t get used to Catherine) are doing a fantastic job abroad flying the flag. They have amazing body language - synchrony, harmony, tenderness - the eight year wait was worth it for Kate... he was a bit slow on the uptake...most women would like a man to be a bit slower, er, that's another topic!
Enjoy your weekend and hope to speak to you tomorrow night at 10 PM, Pam X
