X Factor disappointment and doing things a different way...
After a pal's dinner party on Saturday night where we had a cocktail explosion grapefruit and mint (refreshing!), got back late and watched X Factor - lovin’ Aiden Grimshaw, Matt Cardle and others.
So unhappy that Katie didn't get the boot last night! Not only does she have a ropey voice but her Queen rendition on Saturday night was truly awful and she's got to the sack the stylist. I still think Cher looks far too fragile and am I the only person who didn't like her performance Saturday tonight??
Can't believe that FYD went - for a boy band they had a certain quirkiness.
Finally fired-up my Kindle and downloaded Sister but first reading Jonathan Franzen's Freedom that a friend gave me on Friday night.
Yikes, rushing off to a breakfast meeting - you know I'm no good at those being a night owl.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: it's good to force yourself out of your routine (like the torture of a breakfast meeting) because you never know, you might discover doing things a different way actually works better.
I'm never going to be good at early mornings but it's always worth a shot!
Can't believe someone has actually won £113 million on the Euro lottery. It's completely mind blowing - even 1/10 of that sum would be life changing. I think they should cap those massive wins and spread it between 10 people it's a ridiculous amount of money. Nobody needs that much money!
Happy Monday, Pam X
