Cheating hearts, good films and birth order...
Doing an interview on BBC radio Surrey and Sussex mid-afternoon about one of these appalling "dating websites" for adulterers. As if relationships weren’t under attack enough in our society with temptations everywhere. The people behind these sites earn money off of your loneliness, anger, hurt, despair - whatever the reason behind you feeling like you want to cheat.
There are other ways to heal your problems!
Loved The Town - Ben Affleck was believable as the bad guy with a heart. Definitely exciting and pacey but also at times it slowed down a bit and made you think about his character and its multilayers. Won't reveal whether he gets the girl or not. The phenomenal Jeremy Renner is going to have to watch he doesn't get type-cast as emotionally unstable characters.
Sunday lunch visited a pal who's moved in to a lovely new flat with his boyfriend. We went to the Pepper Tree in Clapham for lunch and sadly it's gone downhill...even the pad Thai I experimentiedwith on Friday night was tastier - and that's saying something! A fairly uninspiring lunch but fab company.
I used to eat there quite frequently as it was half way between an old friend's and mine.
Darn, I was rooting for David Miliband not his little brother Red Ed. Oh well, we'll see how it pans out. Interesting how everybody's made a fuss about the little brother getting the glory. Just shows how important birth order is and the respect you're given - the elders are usually viewed as ‘betters’.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: Have you ever thought how birth order affects the way you relate to people? Because believe me it does! If you're the oldest you probably tend to be more independent and have higher levels of self belief than the middle child - who tends to struggle for attention because then the baby arrives and manages to snatch it.
If you're the baby you probably find it hard to be taken seriously - at least within your family.
Happy Monday...er...not for me, I'm off to have that emergency filling late morning... what a Monday! Pam X
