Heroes and work those muscles!
Please see the heartfelt "your e-mail of the week" I've just posted from Sarah.
It's a double ‘whoop-whoop’ for me with England and America going through yesterday - we can only pray that England can finally beat Germany! Let's not forget the real heroes - the soldiers of the 11 Light Brigade- who arrived back from Afghanistan yesterday. Thank everyone of you for all you've given up!
And what about the whopping great marathon over at Wimbledon? The phenomenal stamina of American John Isner and Frenchman Nicolas Mahut is staggering!
Couldn't be happier as one of my children has an exciting new job where they will be appreciated! I was a very young mum when I had mine and there's nothing better than seeing good things happen them.
In my Love it! magazine column this week I help a woman who's feeling slack "down below". Everyone - women and men - should do their pelvic floor exercises. Not only are they important for keeping your ‘bladder and bits’ in place but they'll give you more powerful orgasms!
TODAY’S THOUGHT: so my thought of the day is to share with you how to do them. Identify the muscles that help you stop "spending a penny" - the pelvic floor muscles that run from the pubic bone around to your bottom. Pull them “upwards”, squeezing gently, and hold for 2 to 3 seconds. Repeat this 10 times.
Build to doing this twice daily - and working up to 20 repetitions each time you do them. Do them sitting at your desk, in a meeting, even on the bus - as long as you don't get a funny expression on your face as you concentrate on squeezing them! I won't confess the places I've done them before - and people would never have known!
Get out in the sunshine today and get your vitamin D! Hugs, Pam X
