Too much, too soon and misery guts...
I hope the start of your week finds you fit and well - I'm a misery guts having woken up with a throat feeling like I swallowed a packet of razor blades, aches and pains, plus a fever - one of the bugs going around. It's sooooo annoying as I have work, work and more work - but then was due to meet a lovely old friend at 5.00 for a coffee before going to friend’s birthday dinner at a new restaurant.
I hate being ill! I'm a terrible patient and always excessively impatient to get better.
Today on iVillage.co.uk I've written about whirlwind marriages and relationships - too much, too soon! If you're in a passionate, fast-moving relationship you might want to see the tips I give to make it work.
On another topic - have you been discovering the new you? Has it caused some wrangling with your partner who might need a touch threatened by the new you? Check out my article in today's Express Newspaper – I offer some really practical advice which may just help you smooth things over.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: But one point I make is never be undermined by a partner when you're trying to you do great things - get fitter, get healthier, get happier - just because they feel left behind. If you have a basically good relationship then you should consider your partner's feelings about big changes you’re making - but if they've got an issue with jealousy make sure you set your boundaries quickly and firmly - as they should be supporting you.
Well, I'm off to make a steaming hot mug of a famous cold medication and grab a handful of the double-chocolate chip cookies I made on Saturday - that'll put a smile on my "coldy"-looking face. Will be on the cold medication tomorrow on This Morning television! Happy Monday, Pam X
