Blind dates, your sleep positions and your relationship, breakup weight loss, let's talk sex...
FYI - my site might go down temporarily this afternoon during maintenance.
So looking forward to chatting to radio presenter Mark Carter at BBC Sussex and Surrey at 215 this afternoon about blind dates - a topic close to my heart - met my second husband that way - and have set up friends on blind dates too.
In today's Express newspaper I've written about what your sleep position says about your relationship. Of course there are exceptions - where a partner might have physical needs that mean they need to sleep apart from the other partner - but otherwise your sleeping position does speak volumes about how you relate to each other.
Pictures of Demi Moore over the last few days are shocking - she's going through what I called the 'Divorce Diet' in my book, The Breakup Survival Kit...this is when some women respond with weight loss to a relationship that's slipping through their fingertips.
It's not that they stop eating on purpose but their metabolism goes into overdrive and they burn off every calorie they eat. Plus they're so stressed they sometimes forget to eat. If you're going through a traumatic time please try and fuel your energy needs - because this kind of weight loss can lead to a diminished immune system.
I'm looking forward to covering celebrity relationship stories on tonight's Let's Talk Sex at 1045. There are lots of celebrity stories that raise issues the rest of us can relate to. So if you enjoy discussions about relationships and sex then do watch.
TODAY’S TIP: getting back to sleep positions - if you two never say a warm goodnight to each other, never show any affection in bed and sleep poles apart and are you surprised if your partner seems distant?
The best tip is to step-by-step increase your physical contact. Diving in and getting overly affectionate might freak them out. But reach across the bed and holding their hand or giving them a gentle goodnight kiss is the best way to start.
No point in joining the breakup statistics if you can salvage things.
Fab to hear about and read of the Stone Roses reuniting! Who'd have thought? Heard snippets of their interview - when they met up they found the tunes just came forth.
Have a lovely Wednesday, Pam x
