Caught kissing someone else, recurring nightmares, annoying BT...
On my iVillage.co.uk weekly blog today I've written about a woman finding her boyfriend and best friend kissing...er, not an easy scenario to explain away! If this has happened to you (hope not!) check out my advice.
If you've experienced something like this, and you no longer trust your partner, you don't need to keep kissing that same old frog... leave him behind and find someone new.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: if you decide to stick it out it's important to remember that, once broken, trust is enormously hard to repair. It's a day-by-day journey to try to move forward and regain trust between you.
Don't expect it to happen overnight because trust is the very foundation of a relationship and if that foundation’s been rocked it takes time, patience and care to rebuild.
Only you can decide if things are worth repairing - but if you decide ‘yes they are’ be prepared for a bit of a journey.
After 24 hours of incredibly annoying Internet problems finally back on - haven't been a particularly happy bunny but when these things happen I cross fingers, toes, and everything else. Then hope BT can sort it and get on with something else. They did after many phone calls - pester-power works.
Had loads of fun at the Freeview event last night talking about the body language to watch out for when Wills and Kate get married.
Evidently Kate Middleton has had a recurring nightmare that she's naked at the altar - a classic anxiety dream. Being naked represents your inner anxiety that people can read all of your thoughts and feelings and that you can’t cover them up no matter how hard you try.
It’s also symbolic of the fear that you won't manage whatever the demands are on you - in Kate's case to have the whole world watching your wedding.
Doesn't surprise me in the slightest if she's had this nightmare - in fact it would be pretty odd if she wasn't having a nightmare with all the pressure she's under.
So sad to hear yesterday that Poly Styrene of 70s punk band X-Ray Specs has died of breast cancer. She bucked the trend pretty pop princesses from the 60s and 70s and with her spirit and originality was the spark for "girl power". Long may such spirit live!
Take care of yourself, Pam x
