OMG, Ring and chat on Sunday evening after 10, cherish your loved ones...
OMG unbelievable about the News of the World - I wrote for them for eight years before moving to another Sunday paper in 2004 for a time. Had so many friends at “the screws" back in the day - have so many memories of great times - it was a phenomenal paper to write for.
It's so sad that a few bad apples are literally spoiling it for the whole barrel... but who knows, heard on Radio 4 - and now this story is on other media - that there might be a Sun on Sunday on the horizon??
The summer special I'm doing on BBC radio Western regions is back Saturday night with a love songs programme from 10 PM to 1 AM - use the following contact details to text in a dedication for someone you love.
And Sunday night you can join me for a live chat from 10 PM to 1 AM - ring with your dilemma - the number on Sunday night is 0845 301 1034, OR text 81333, start your message with the word 'LOVE'... can’t wait to hear from you!
It's easy to listen online - and to join in - go to BBC radio Devon at 10 PM on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: Thinking the News of the World - you never know what's around the corner. Emplyees there had a job only yesterday and now look what's happened. It goes to show you can’t plan for everything - not even something as major in your life as your job.
Most important you can’t plan for what’s going to happen to loved ones - so cherish them every day, let them know you love them - you can’t go wrong with that!
Loving the new Magnetic Men tune and also Modesteps’ track Sunlight - crazy video with our elders getting up to all sorts! Check it out!
Happy Friday, Pam X
