Loose Women & a couple of gossipy things in the press...
A brief one today as I was up most of the night with a sick relation. So many of the bugs this year are seriously persistent - and linger in the system - making it harder to get better - so I hope you're looking after yourself!
Very excited to be going on Loose Women tomorrow. We'll be talking about my new book - How to be a Happy Human - 10 Essential Principles to Change Your life! This is out next week (or the week after, but very soon) and you can check it out in my book section on the home page.
A couple of gossipy things in the press today grabbed my attention - could the Sarkozy's marriage (the first couple of France) be over after a mere two or three years? If the suggestions in the press are true, that they are both having affairs, I think it's a case of there not being enough room in one marriage for two massive egos!
And John Cleese has got himself another tall, slim blonde - no surprise there - that man has a definite "type" that he goes for!
TODAY’S THOUGHT: I always say: beware the man (or woman) with a distinct type - there's usually the ghost of the original woman (the template for what becomes his type) hanging around in his memory bank. He tries to recreate what he had with her in a succession of similar "types".
If you've got a type, you need to question why you're hung up on this particular type of person - whether it's their looks or personality - maybe it's time to open your mind to other people. Because let's face it, maybe your type isn't working for you.
Oh dear, I hope David Cameron's wife Samantha knows what she's getting herself into by going on the campaign trail for her husband. Sarah Brown has faced lots of criticism from time to time when she sticks her nose out for Gordon.
It's not like either of them are a Hillary Clinton-type whose complete dedication to politics knew no bounds - and who continues to serve her country. No, both Sarah Brown and Sam Cameron are part-time politicos - makes them much easier targets for criticism.
It's almost the weekend - yay - love, Pam X p.s. well, I thought it was going to be brief!
