Celeb analysis, body language, Apprentice travesty...
So glad to see my 'heroine' of the year Christina Schmid in the press a couple times recently - despite her terrible loss when her husband Olaf was killed over a year ago in his bomb disposal work she's kept the plight of our ill-equipped soldiers in the limelight. I wish her every happiness this Christmas.
Going to record an interview for a Channel 5 programme this afternoon - doing some celebrity analysis - will be fun and I'll let you know when it’s broadcast after Christmas. Can’t reveal what the topic is.
I always enjoy doing body language pieces and if you're interested in "steamy snogging" take a look at my celeb kissing feature that's gone live on IVillage.co.uk.
More body language analysis in today's Express newspaper - I've given some tips on how to look good on the red carpet or, quite frankly, at any old family event.
Yay, had a cosy evening in watching The Apprentice – with a pal - the hubby decided to go to the Sheffield event - evidently I missed a winter wonderland it looks so beautiful up there - but treacherous. It's a minor travesty that Liz Locke got the boot when the self-aggrandising Stuart should have gone.
At first I quite liked Stuart but over the weeks he's shown himself to be all talk and no trousers. My theory? He was kept in because sadly he makes good telly.
TODAY’S THOUGHT: back to tips for photographs - I'm not a fan of having my photo taken which is why I usually have an 'enigmatic smile like the flippin’ Mona Lisa' as the hubby calls it. Lucky for some people who are naturals in front of the camera.
Funny enough I’ve advised others on how to relax for their ‘shot’... need to take my own advice. One key thing is when you're staring into someone's camera, feeling nervous (let's say for any familyChristmas snaps), visualise your favourite person smiling back at you. Forget where you are and just think of him or her and your face will look much more natural.
I promised a couple Music recommendations - definitely Crystal Castles (but I recommended them ages ago) and of course James Blake’s soulful, haunting and sad tune Limit to Your Love - a 'must' listen. I hear Hollywood Undead have some great new tunes if you're into something more in-your-face.
I'll be posting a new "your e-mail of the week" tomorrow.... time to get yours in - just click on the gold star on my homepage.
Enjoy your day, Pam x
